Dr Rowan O’Neill is an artist and writer from Felinwynt in Ceredigion. Her practice and ongoing research represents a continuous investigation of language, identity, place and belonging. Her work is inspired by her background in religious studies and the difference between contemporary urban British society and her agricultural Welsh upbringing. In 2013, she completed a doctoral degree at Aberystwyth University under the auspices of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol for her research on the archive of the artist Cliff McLucas.
