Dr Geraldine Lublin works as a Welsh-medium lecturer in Modern Languages at Swansea University and is funded through the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol's Academic Staffing Scheme. She was born in Buenos Aires where she graduated as a translator before being awarded an international scholarship in 2004 to undertake a doctorate on twentieth century Patagonian literature at Cardiff University. She joined the Department of Spanish Studies at Swansea University as a Welsh-medium Teaching Fellow in 2007, and since then has been teaching, researching and contributing to the development of Welsh-medium provision at Swansea, as well as to CLASS (Centre for Latin American Studies, Swansea) activities and profile.
