Cerys Ann Jones is a doctoral student at the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences at Aberystwyth University under the auspices of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol's Research Scholarships Scheme. The title of her doctorate is 'Adlunio hinsawdd Cymru o ffynonellau dogfennol hanesyddol' [Remodelling the climate of Wales from historical documentary sources]. She graduated in Geography and Mathematics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Her research interests lie between environmental and historical geography and consider how historical documents can be used to remodel climate change from the pre-instrumental period and assess social effects.
