Catrin Wyn Edwards is a lecturer in International Politics at Aberystwyth University's Department of International Politics. After completing a PhD titled 'Minority Language Communities, Immigration and Language-in-Education Policies: An International Comparative Study' at Aberystwyth University in 2013, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Ottawa, Ontario. Catrin joined the Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University in 2015, originally as a Welsh-medium lecturer with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. Catrin's research and teaching interests include the following areas: language and immigration policy, multiculturalism, nationalism, citizenship and sub-state politics. Catrin has spent periods as a visiting scholar at UQAM University, Montreal, and Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona.
