Osian Elias has been a lecturer in Human Geography at Swansea University since 2017. He completed his doctorate at Aberystwyth University under the auspices of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. His research focuses on the overlap between the fields of language, psychology and geography. Osian's main research interests are the efforts to restore languages and the challenges of undertaking such policies. Osian combines these research interests with his teaching responsibilities, taking advantage of what Geography as a discipline can offer to the study of linguistic diversity.
