Anne Marie Carty is a documentary film-maker and visual ethnographer with over 25 years' experience in using film in participation, outreach and social development. She completed her training as a documentary producer at the National Film and Television School, working for several yers in the broadcast television world before moving into academic research where she worked as a visual anthropologist at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology at Manchester University. She also worked for the BBC in London. She is currently a PhD student at CREAM, Westminster University.
