Pan fo addysgwyr yn ddysgwyr – safbwyntiau ar hyder ymarferwyr ail iaith i gefnogi ‘Datblygu’r Gymraeg’ fel ail iaith yn y Cyfnod Sylfaen

Mae Datblygu’r Gymraeg yn y Cyfnod Sylfaen yng Nghymru yn faes y rhoddir cryn dipyn o bwyslais arno, ac felly mae’r erthygl hon yn rhoi sylw i safbwyntiau ymarferwyr sydd yn siarad Cymraeg fel ail iaith ac sydd yn addysgu’r Gymraeg fel ail iaith yn y Cyfnod Sylfaen. Gwerthusir dyfnder yr heriau y teimlant y maent yn eu hwynebu wrth gyflwyno iaith nad ydynt yn gwbl hyderus ynddi, gan ystyried rhai o’r goblygiadau a amlygir gan eu safbwyntiau. Rhoddir ystyriaeth i hyder ymarferwyr yng nghyd-destun polisi a chwricwlwm Cymru ac amlygir bod yr elfen hon o addysg braidd yn anweledig yng nghyd-destun ystyriaethau datblygu’r Gymraeg, a’i bod yn effeithio ar niferoedd sylweddol o ddisgyblion Cyfnod Sylfaen yng Nghymru. Awgrymir bod yr agwedd hon ar y Cyfnod Sylfaen yn un sydd angen ystyriaeth a sylw buan.
