Canu i’r Cof: Effeithiau prosiect Singing for the Brain ar gof ac ansawdd bywyd pobl sydd â dementia yng ngogledd Cymru
Nia Davies Williams

Pwrpas yr erthygl hon yw darganfod pa fudd y mae canu mewn grŵp yn ei gael ar bobl sydd â dementia, yn benodol drwy edrych ar sesiynau Singing for the Brain (SftB) a gynhaliwyd yng ngogledd Cymru yn ystod 2012–13 gan y Gymdeithas Alzheimer. Cychwynnir drwy drafod ymchwil sydd eisoes wedi ei gwblhau ar ganu mewn grŵp ym maes cerddoriaeth a dementia, yn ogystal ag olrhain tarddiad y prosiect Singing for the Brain ar draws Prydain. Yna, adroddir ar y gwaith maes gan gyflwyno’r casgliadau, ac yna ymlaen i ymdrin â gwerthuso’r casgliadau.
